“Bill My Company” feature makes it easy for employees to instantly copy, post and distribute articles from thousands of news and B2B websites

SEATTLE, Washington, January 14, 2010 -- iCopyright announced today a new instant licensing and billing service for enterprise users, namely corporate, educational, and institutional users of digital content. Enterprise users can now have their purchases automatically billed to a corporate account, using the new “Bill my Company” option that appears within the iCopyright licensing links located on thousands of publisher websites. Enterprise administrators have access to a new corporate account console where they can track purchases by employee and by department. They can also take advantage of a new Permissions Request feature in their console to submit requests for content published on the web that may not be tagged with iCopyright. The enterprise receives a monthly invoice for all content licensed by its employees.

“Enterprise users represent the best customers for news and B2B publishers,” said Mike O’Donnell, CEO of iCopyright. “They have the budgets for reprints and licensed content and they also have the corporate ethic—and mandate—to be copyright compliant. This new service makes it easier for enterprise employees to get the content they want, when they want it, and easier for the enterprise to track the licenses that have been purchased and to pay for those purchases on credit.”

Enterprise accounts can be set up free-of-charge at: http://license.icopyright.net/corp/createCorporation.act
