FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
iCopyright Launches ClipandCopy.com
Free news alert and press clippings service now available to online users
SEATTLE, Washington, October 4, 2006-- iCopyright announced today the official launch of ClipandCopy.com, a free news alert and press clippings service. iCopyright also said that it was granted a national registered trademark on Clip&Copy® by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Clip&Copy® was beta tested by more than 1,000 users.
Beta tester Dave Parker, CEO of 9Spaces.com, has been using Clip&Copy® since the product was launched. “It was simple to sign up and easy to modify my profile. Best of all I like receiving the daily abstracts on topics that are important to me vs. scanning the headlines on multiple sources. Now that I've used the product I see a number of uses for both our company and our customers including advertising opportunities,” he said.
“Clip&Copy® fits our mission of helping online users to find and license the content they want to use for commercial and educational purposes,” said Mike O’Donnell, CEO of iCopyright. “It’s another way that we can promote iCopyright-tagged publishers and the proper use of their content."
As the name implies, Clip&Copy® not only delivers relevant news clips, it comes with the rights to copy the clips and the full-text articles, as authorized by the publishers.
Users can sign up free at http://www.clipandcopy.com.
