Why Are You Getting This Report?
You receive this weekly report because you activated iCopyright Articles Tools + Syndication on your website. This six-in-one tool allows you to syndicate, source, share, promote, track and sell articles on your website.
What Data Is Reported?
This section of the report shows how many views of articles you sourced from other sites were viewed on your site. It also shows the homepage URLs of sites that you source articles from.
Not Getting Any Data?
You won’t get any data for this section of the report unless you have chosen to source articles from other sites. You can source fresh, relevant content from other sites to publish on your site by signing into your iCopyright Conductor administrative console and clicking on Syndication on the top menu. You can locate content to source by searching for publication name or by keywords.
How Can You Improve Sourcing Articles from Other Sites?
First, when sourcing third-party content using the Syndication module in your iCopyright Conductor administrative console, choose your keywords wisely. Test the feed that is generated to make sure the content is a good match for your site. To begin sourcing content from others, or to add to or adjust an existing syndicated feed, select Syndication from the top menu in Conductor, then select Feed & Tag Syndication.
Second, if there is content on other sites that you think would be a good fit for publishing on your site, email the site owner or webmaster and let them know of your interest. Let them know that they can easily syndicate their content to your site and other sites using the iCopyright Article Tools + Syndication service. More often than not, publishers are willing to syndicate their content if there is an easy and reliable mechanism for tracking CPM views and collecting and distributing the money that is due them. iCopyright has been providing this service to some of the world’s largest publishers for 12 years.
